We are also situated in the state of West Bengal, which is the source of cheapest skilled labour, even by Indian standards. We have integrated all these strong fundamentals with strong business practices to create a fundamentally strong & valuable business enterprise. Amrit Exports Pvt. Ltd. specializes in the manufacture & export of all kinds of workwear including safetywear & casualwear. We have ISO 9001:2008 certification by DNV Netherlands. The Government of India recognizes us as an export house. Our Gold Card from our bankers means their acknowledgement of the highest level of financial discipline. We have recently been awarded the third best exporters award by Dun & Bradstreet and ECGC (Nodal agency of Government of India for Export Credit guarantee). We have also been awarded a trophy by the Apparel Export Promotion Council, Kolkata for rendering valuable services to garment trade in Eastern India. Management: Amrit Exports is a professionally managed family company. While the ownership lies in the family the tenets of professionalism are highly visible. The company's directors are all Management Graduate, Chartered Accountants, Cost Accountants, which are effective qualifications for running a vibrant enterprise. A lot of effort has being put since last 2 years to develop a web based ERP programme in which each client will be given a password by which very soon they will be able to trace the status of their orders
Infrastructure & Capacity: The new infrastructure that Amrit Exports is creating is topped by 14-storied corporate head quarters in the new commercial hub of Kolkata. 12 years down the line, Amrit Exports arguably is the leading work-wear manufacturer in the country. Its Turnover of 12 million Euros is an index of success. Amrit Exports today employs large workforce in various capacities, working in various units with a total installed capacity to manufacture 250,000 (Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand) garments every month. Around 15,000 square meters of new logistic center is also coming up in the city suburbs very fast. This new Center will house storage of raw material & finish product, cutting and central warehouse for dispatches apart from the knitting, laundry and embroidery operations.
Machines: Amrit Exports has been continually evolving as a company, with increasing investment in world class machinery. The list of plant and machinery includes 3 Gerber Auto cad systems, F.K.Systema Automatic Cutting Machine,Circular Knitting Machines, from Mayer & Cie 25 head Embroidery Machines,in-house laundry, automatic layering Machine from Gerber and a variety of equipments from leading manufacturers like Durkopf, Juki, Brother among others. Raw Materials: Amrit Export has tied up with India's best textile manufacturers for quality fabrics at affordable price. All our fabrics are Oeko Tex certified and we can soon give Euro flower fabrics. We also have organic cotton and Fair-trade cotton fabrics. Similarly all our accessories are nickel free and meet up to highest standards. We have the possibility to use buttons and zipper from Prym or YKK. For embroidery, we use the yarns from Madeira, Germany. We also use the EN471 reflective tapes from 3M, USA as well as T2S, France. Highly Technical fabrics like Aramides, Antistatic, Beaver nylon, Pyrovatex, Nano finishes, water repellent are all regularly being used by us. We soon seek to manufacture all these by ourselves.
Our impressive Product range includes almost every work clothing used in Europe & includes garments made from various types of fabrics such as cotton, polyester cotton, polyester, nylon, acrylic, wool, Aramides, Antistatic etc. We have the possibility to make Industrial washable ISO 15797 fabrics for laundry companies. We are well aware about EN norms like EN471, EN531, EN470, EN469, EN510, EN1149, ENV343 & ENV342.
Product & Services: This is the area where we put a lot of effort. We have been able to distinguish ourselves with a product quality, which has met even the most stringent quality specifications given by our clients in the European Markets. Most of our clients are themselves manufacturing garments in Europe and they have been increasingly shifting more and more of their product ranges from their own units in Europe to our units in India.
We believe in providing prompt & efficient services whether it relates to our commitment for timely dispatches or proper & timely responses to the queries of our customers. We keep our customers updated about the status of their shipments.
Quality Control System: The pursuit of excellence has fine-tuned our Quality control systems, contributing to our reputation and our growth. Our well-defined Accountability & bar coding System can trace each single apparel to individuals, who have stitched, checked or supervised long after its manufacture. Lower defects-percentage even by world standards and fewer complaints from our customer reinforces our belief in our quality control systems.

Amrit Exports offers work-wear for a wide range of industries and situations - from Hotels to Hospitals and from Airline to Army. More specifically, Amrit Exports specializes in manufacture and export of embroidered or printed image garments, usually manufactured in Europe. We are a complete work wear solution company & wish to create a vertically integrated work wear company for Europe. We do feel that each European is a target customer of our company, of course through our partners.

HR Development
We have very transparent and healthy practices for staff development.
Each Individual is critically evaluated based on his/her performance. This is a very objective way of assessment & this HR module is incorporated in our Oracle System. As such, a worker on the machines in the factory has an opportunity to rise up & become a factory manager through various stage of progression.
We want to emphasize that this whole system of evaluation is a very objective one based on the performance data collected from the shop floor level.
Furthermore people working in the office & contributing indirectly to the purchases are also critically evaluated & have an excellent opportunity to rise up the hierarchy through sheer objectivity.
Environment
Garmenting is a non-polluting industry with no effect on the environment. However the environment does get effected when the raw material from the garment is being prepared.
As a responsible corporate citizen we accept our responsibility towards this and encourage our suppliers to do the same.
All our fabrics are OEKO – TEX fabrics. We have also asked our suppliers to try and take Euro flower registration, which means proper recycling of waste material.
We also have the possibility of using organic and fair trade cotton
Also we are a SA 8000:2008 & ISO 14001:2004 certified company.

As a company we provide employable training to new workers in our company boosting employment in rural areas where most of our units are located. Each of our factories has 5-10 machines where locals can come and learn how to stitch. Thus a lot of our workers from below poverty line families are helped with employment avenues.
We also hold the subject of traditional education very close to our heart especially when it is to do with students whose families cannot afford it. Towards this we have created a trust by the name of Amrit Nath Educational Trust and have set up a school and an institute of higher learning in the state of Rajasthan (among the states with the lowest literacy rate)
